Steve and his team had built a strong reputation over 25 years of converting garages across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. The work spoke for itself and most new business came through referrals and repeat recommendations. But in an increasingly competitive local market, relying on word of mouth alone was a ceiling, not a strategy.
Their social media presence was inconsistent. Video content was non-existent. And with more competitors entering the garage conversion space, standing out and staying visible to homeowners actively searching for the service had become a real challenge. They needed a marketing engine, not just an online presence.

We built a content-led strategy designed to raise visibility, build trust and generate warm enquiries on a consistent basis.
That started with social media. We developed and managed a full content strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, bringing consistency and brand alignment to channels that had previously been ad hoc. We created engaging, professionally produced videos showcasing real completed conversions, customer testimonials and expert tips, giving prospective customers something tangible to watch, trust and share.
We launched a YouTube channel to support long-term organic visibility and complement the SEO work, building a body of content that would keep working over time. Alongside the digital activity, we designed and delivered a targeted letter drop campaign to homeowners in key postcode areas, putting the brand directly in front of people most likely to convert.
To complete the picture, we built them a brand new website to replace their existing one, giving the business a platform that properly reflected the quality of their work and was set up to convert the traffic we were driving to it.
The content we created across the website, YouTube and social media was built with depth and consistency, two things that matter enormously as search continues to evolve. As Google's AI Overviews now dominate the top of search results, surfacing answers directly on the page before a user clicks anywhere, The Garage Conversion Specialist began appearing in those positions too.
