Richard Stone has spent over thirty years working at every level of the construction industry. From the tools to the boardroom, his career spans construction project management, CDM Principal Designer duties, Non-Executive Director appointments and board-level governance across residential and commercial projects worth over £500 million. He is a TEDx speaker, a published author, an MCIOB member completing his Fellowship application and a three-time PM50 Supplier of the Year.

The online presence did not come close to reflecting any of it. His existing website was a basic template with no SEO, thin copy and a visual identity that was misaligned across every touchpoint. For someone operating at board level with clients including NHS Trusts, Tier 1 contractors and landed estates, the gap between the reality and the first impression was significant.

Our approach.

We started with the brand. Richard's work spans several distinct practice areas, from compliance and CDM to advisory, speaking and media, and the identity needed to hold all of that together with authority and clarity. We built a cohesive brand system from scratch, with a visual language and tone that reflected the seriousness and depth of what Richard brings to every engagement.

With the brand in place, we built the website. The new site is a bespoke, high-end build designed specifically for the audience Richard works with: developers, contractors and leadership teams making decisions where the margin for error is small. Every page was structured to communicate credibility quickly, with Richard's credentials, experience and practice areas presented clearly and without clutter. SEO-rich copy replaced the thin template text, giving the site the foundations to perform in search as well as in person.

The content creation took things further. We filmed Richard at Hintlesham Hall during a real working meeting with clients, where he was acting as their Non-Executive Director on a live tender. The result was authentic, high-quality content that showed Richard in his element, doing the work, in the room that matters. That kind of content cannot be staged and it cannot be faked. It placed Richard exactly where his brand needed him to be.
